Ajmal Jami is based in Lahore head office where he serves as a news Anchor. In this capacity; He had an opportunity to broadcast live from Muzzafrabad, Kashmir. He conducted a ten hour transmission live from where 2005 disastrous earth quake took place. He has covered many breaking news during his career at Express which included Lahore High Court blast, Wah cantt blast, GHQ blast Rawalpindi, FIA blast and Musharraf’s resignation transmission . He also covered the top story of formulation of new government and new assemblies 1st sessions. He also produces packages reports off and on.

Prior to joining Express, he worked in FM 103, and did popular shows on current affairs. After massive earthquake in AJK, He worked with “ZINDAGI PHIR SEY MUSKARYE GE” an emergency radio transmission of P.U radio F.M 104.6 for Muzaffarabad. (With collaboration of UNESCO)

He has also worked with INTERNEWS PAKISTAN in Abbottabbad.

He has Participated in 1stYOUTH ASIAN CAMP FOR ASIA’S FUTURE, held in SEOUL the capital of SOUTH KOREA (Aug 6th 2006-Aug 30th 2006). Youth of 18 ASIAN nations participated in the event.He is also a recipient of an achievement award 2008 for media services given by Institute of Communication, University of Punjab.
