Fatimah Inayet is an anchor and a senior producer for Express News business desk programs. Fatimah joined Express News in February 2008 and is based out of Lahore head office. At Express her responsibilities include business bulletin and programming. She provides in- depth market coverage along with regular updates and analysis on current economic situations and stock and currency markets. She also contributes in global breaking financial news stories. She has also interviewed leading policy officials on her show such as Governor of the state bank of Pakistan, finance minister and CEO’s of various financial institutions.

Fatimah will soon start hosting a morning show at Express where she will interview people from different walks of life, will give in-depth coverage of major issues of the day and updates on current sports events, health , business and political economy issues.

Before joining Express, Fatimah worked for GEO TV as an anchor. She co-produced a stock market program twice daily, in the Dubai Media City. Fatimah produced and hosted 2nd World Islamic Economic Forum held in Islamabad. She also produced and presented the live federal budget sessions from the parliament house in the federal capital of Pakistan. She also conducted various interviews of dignitaries including Governor state bank Malaysia, Chairman and Managing Director of the Karachi Stock Exchange and Advisor to the Pakistan Prime Minister on finance.

She has participated and managed several expeditions to the Pakistan northern areas bordering Central Asia, Afghanistan and China.

Fatima is a graduate of Lahore University of Management sciences. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics.
