Rehman has been involved in handling many breaking news from the Express news centre in Lahore, he has to his credit vital transmissions like Marriott Hotel blast, Lawyer’s movement and Musharraf’s resignation. He has also anchored for the news info show Nazar. Apart from doing prime time nightly news, he handled transmissions on special days interviewing people on occasions like Labor Day and Eid. Before joining Express news, Rehman has worked in various capacities in media and broadcasting industry. Mainly he worked as a correspondent and anchor for Geo television. As a reporter he has been doing on the spot coverage for general events and sports in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. He started his work as a creative writer and script writer for documentaries, programs and promos for ARY media group.
